Why You Need Pull Learning

I love learning.

Clearly, as a learning professional, I'm biased.

But I love that I have so much information right at my fingertips.

It allows me to pull the information I need when I need it.

What Does Pull Learning Look Like

Why Is Pull Learning Important

Pull learning allows the individual learner to have complete control over what they learn, how they learn it, and when they learn it. It puts them in the driver seat.

What Does This Mean for L&D

If our learners are the drivers, we can pave the streets. We can make sure that whatever route they take, they have a smooth and accessible path. We can make sure they have street signs they can read so they can easily navigate the roads ahead. And, we can provide pit stops and even company from fellow road trippers.

While there will always be a place for L&D to push learning to our staff, allowing our staff to pull the learning they want or need is also incredibly valuable.
