Podcast Recap: How to Build Trust among Your Nonprofit's Hybrid Workforce

Many nonprofits have spent the last two years in a hybrid model with some staff in-person and some virtual.

It’s time to be intentional about our new hybrid workforce, and building trust is foundational to a great hybrid culture.

In this week's episode of Learning for Good, we will learn three ways you can build trust among your nonprofit's hybrid workforce AND what nonprofit L&D leaders can do to create this environment for staff.

Episode 04: How to Build Trust among Your Nonprofit's Hybrid Workforce

What You Will Discover:

[01:38]

✔️ Listen actively. People want to feel heard, and in a hybrid environment, leaders have to intentionally carve out time to listen to their teams because those spontaneous, unplanned hallway conversations don’t happen.

[03:25]

✔️Act transparently. Many people feel uncertain and uncomfortable after the many layoffs and changes that occurred during the pandemic and the Great Resignation. Sharing what information you have as you have it and are able to share it will help staff feel more at ease.

[04:56]

✔️Communicate consistently. Studies have shown that people need to hear a message 7x before they remember it. Even when you feel like you’ve communicated enough, communicate some more.
